TOP STATION is situated in the Western Ghats, Theni District, Tamilnadu. {6500 ft AMSL}, Top Station (the border of the two states), Tamilnadu and Kerala. Is located 10 kms away from Kundaly dam. Top Station was popular five decades ago when Rope cars carrying Tata Tea and Forest products where operated from Top Station to Kurangani

Today, solid pillars stand majestically along the trekking route to remind us the past method of transporting goods down the hills. If the atmosphere is clear one can see the beautiful landscape of Tamilnadu

This place with its depth and height evokes a feeling of awe in our mind. On most afternoons the top station is a misty peak. Pampadumchola National Park, Kurinji Sanctuary can be viewed from the top of the Top Station

The mountain flower NEELA KURINJI (Strobilanthes kunthiana) which blooms once is 12 years, the synonymous landmark of Top Station.
